She looks like a silver haired cat pretending to be a girl with glasses.

When in cat form she looks like a grey haired cat wih an unusual green star marked on her head.

Personality:
Basically 'insane' by all standard definitions of the word. Cathy is a human girl who turned into a cat after achieving Gnosis, and is now a cat trying to remember how to be human and failing. Achieving Gnosis with the rest of the Occult Research Club, by encountering an entity called The Great Nameless Beast, Cathy's entire personality BENT hard into a non-human ethos, now obsessed with spreading the domain of the Great Nameless Beast, "The Fey Wildes", into the lands of Man.

Before her corruption, Cathy was always a loner and shy, only really functioning with her iteration of the Duel Academy Research Club, and even before her achieving Gnosis, Cathy had always been really into cats. So basically, shy awkward goth girl.

Her corruption has led her to being more shrewd, bold, and manipulative.

History:
Cathy is the heiress to the Nekoyama family of Heartland City, one of the founding families of Heartland alongside the Kamishiro and Tenjo families (yes Kaito's family is going to be mysteriously involved here). The Thing is her parents disappeared extremely early on in her life and noone is quite able to explain how Cathy grew up without anyone raising her, other than potentially maids, and yet, no one can find any records of any such staff caring for her. And yet. She claims to have seen a beast through out her childhood, but when pressed to describe its exact appearance, she has found herself unable to explain or describe the mysterious animal other than it is unlike any other beast in this world.

Most of this would be a non-issue and she'd just a weird eccentric rich girl whose parents probably died due to some large animal that found its way into Heartland City, and she took this obsession and barreled into occult research. Except again, no one can explain how exactly Cathy was raised, and anyone who peered too deeply into her home life either quit their job, moved across Japan, or went missing. Spooky.

Ultimatel she joined DA's most recent iteration of the Occult Research Club, after Ashley, Kitty and Sabrina's graduating from the academy. And dived into researching the strangeness on the island, occult literature, and the Fae. And then, in August of 2023, Cathy and the rest of the Occult Research Club contacted something. An entity their notebooks document as the ironically named Great Nameless Beast, leaving behind the following notes:

"The door is the door.
The key is the key."
"The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. The God's name is Abraxia."
"We have seen the woods and we have seen the lights for what they truly are."
"The way to the golden gate in the twilight is"
"Count the fingers. Count the teeth."

And they disappeared with their clothes remaining in the club room. That's because The Occult Research Club contacted The Great Nameless Beast and achieved Gnosis, of the True Shape of the World and the True Way Things Work. And turned into hamsters and bunnies being raised at the school. Cathy however strayed into the woods, and was unable to fully convert herself into one of The Chosen, believing herself chosen to reshape the world, that she now views as a shadow reflecting the light less light of darkness that is the Domain of the Great Nameless Beast called "The Fey Wildes", and now wishes to spread the Fey Wildes, that are beginning to leak into the Greater Domino Area, Kaikori and Duel Academy Island. And plans to do so by summoning The Great Nameless Beast to reshape the world into a place without humanity, without civilization.

The whole issue here, however, is the Great Nameless Beast is already on the island and is flipping through fashion magazines, kicking her feet in the air wearing stripper heels, as well as watching her best friends kiss, while she plays Luigi's Mansion.

So, you know, the whole problem of the religious wildly over interpreting their own God's theology.
